The first half of a Great TKO weekend – NEW Champion!

It was a VERY successful weekend for us at the TKO Academy and this will be the first of two updates today.

At the big STORM event held by Steve Cook at Pegasus Kickboxing and we had 3 fighters appearing. Chayden Carpenter, who I call our mini Tyson once again gave it everything and took a win in a very good fight with a good fighter from Spartans in Chippenham.

Jenson Rowley had a great battle with Francis Conlin from the very good Cleveland Kickboxing club run by Ron Gray. First round was close but I thought we took the second and third and Jensen took the win.

Then it was the turn of Tyler Oxford who won the IKF British junior title with a very good performance against a good fighter Vasil Chonev from Pegasus. Tyler’s potential I have always said is I believe unlimited, he has a great future ahead of him and he showed it here with a dominant performance winning the British junior title at 64.5 kilos.

We had fantastic support, more than most others there and I have to thank everyone who came along to support the team who once again team did us very proud not only with their performances but also in the way they conducted themselves throughout the day.
