KOMBAT ZONE – European title for Tyler

Well KOMBAT ZONE – Toe 2 Toe was a great success, both as an event as well as for our own TKO Elite team. Two new Champions, fantastic performances all round and brilliant support from our members who were there, thank you very much to everyone who came along.

Tyler Oxford became the IKF European Junior Champion with a clear points win over Tony Vigneux from France.  Tyler just gets better every fight, testament to the hard work he puts in.

Gaz Oates became the IKF British Amateur K1 rules champion with a first round win over Tommy Chaplin.  They both went at it and Gaz found the shot to finish it in great style, but full respect to Tommy, a great young fighter who I know we will see again.

Jenson Rowley took a win after a tough fight with Reece Cooper from Assassins Gym, his extra experience paying off.  All three of the guys above are going to Italy in October for the Unified World Championships so the perfect night for them to get their preparation for that event underway.

Rytis Vilonis took a draw in his contest as did Bradley Wray whilst Steve Collins, Tom Rayner and Paul Yaxley (White Collar Boxing) lost but gave everything in tough fights. However as we always say meeting tough opponents is how you learn and develop as a fighter.

A great night then and we now look forward to a busy end of year with the next KOMBAT ZONE being set for 30th November, see you all there
