Well done to all TKO Elite fighters at KOMBAT ZONE

A big well done to our TKO Elite team at the weekends KOMBAT ZONE event..4 wins and 1 loss.

Chayden Carpenter defended his European Junior title. Not the tidiest of fights as his opponent refused to engage and held stopping Chayden working, but the win was never in doubt. At just 14 and 44 kilos he is not the undisputed number 1 in his division.

Kyle Payne was outstanding in defeating Bradley Symons and Jeevan Rakar scored a great win over Liam Clayton. Both boys were in the best form of their career so far, testament to the hard work they put it…these two live in the gym!

Jay Lemarec made one of the best debut wins of any TKO Elite fighter for some time with a great performance in clearly winning against a tough opponent and fought with great style.

Bradley Fothergill fighting under low kick rules was outpointed by Jamie Thompson. A close fight but Jamie made the better start and though Brad came back strong it was Thompson who took the win.. Very proud of all of them, they prepared 100% and gave us some great performances.

Lastly Abi Turp was all set to make her debut for the team however she had to deal with her opponent having to withdraw from their contest due to illness just 5 hours before they were due to fight.   Putting her disappointment aside she then engaged in a very entertaining demonstration bout with teammate Tegan Hacker and it is hoped that Abi will not have put all her training to waste and a contest is being sought for her now.

Massive thanks go to all TKO Elite members who came along and supported them all so well, it was really appreciated.  Look forward to seeing you all at the next one set for May 17th
