KOMBAT ZONE – Quest for Glory was not only a successful event, it was a resounding success for our own fighters with us achieving 6 great wins on the night.
Jay Le Marrec came though a tough fight to beat Dan Barfoot in an official title eliminator for both the IKF and ISKA Southern Area title. It was truly a great fight and he now goes forward to fight for the ISKA title on 24th October
Chayden Carpenter won two fights in one night to take first place in the KING BOXING Champions of Tomorrow Tournament, confirming what I always believed, that he is the number one Junior fighter in his division in the country. Brilliant performance.
Tegan Hacker and Owen Baker both made their debuts and both won their contests. Both are only 15 but performed brilliantly.
Jeevan Rakar gained revenge over Caine Wiley who took the win in their fight in May. This time there was no stopping Jeevan who set a fast pace from the off and never let his opponent into it.
Audrius Marcelo made his debut under K1 rules and came away with a win in an incredibly close fight with Serj Fedins from our friends at Star Kickboxing.
There was bad luck for Ryan Ager who in his first White Collar fight had to settle for a loss this time, but he gave it everyone and will come again stronger for the experience.
Thanks go to all the TKO Elite members who came along on the night, your support was really appreciated by the whole team and the coaches.
Our picture shows Jay having scored a knockdown in the first round.
