A big well done to Safeerullah Saffe who on Friday scored a win in his second Boxing fight and like he did on his debut it was another stoppage win.
Fighting at the GBBU event at Lordwood Leisure Centre Saffe (as he’s known by club mates) fought local lad Lee Arnold and Arnold certainly came to fight. Coming out fast and strong the fight got a little messy, however the cleaner work was always being done by Saffe who inflicted a cut on his opponent during an early exchange. Unfortunately the referee with the assistance of the ringside medical team having inspected the cut ruled that Arnold was unable to continue so the result was a TKO victory for Saffe.
With both his two fights having been scored inside the distance we are hoping to secure Saffe another fight soon to get him the valuable ring experience that he needs, but for now its well done to a young lad who works hard every week at the gym and is getting the results he deserves.
More news on his next fight to follow soon we hope
